Caroline finds joy in staying informed about current therapies and identifying potential eligible patients. She is enthusiastic about overseeing the clinical trial life cycle and offering the best treatment options to our patients. Caroline earned her BSPH degree with a concentration in clinical trials research in 2018 before joining Apex Clinical Research Center in 2022.
Brianna Stewart

Brianna started her career in dermatology research in 2012 before pursuing her nursing education. In 2023, she joined the Apex Clinical Research team. Brianna had a firsthand experience of the positive impact clinical research staff has on patients when her mom participated in a trial after being diagnosed with stage four small B-cell follicular lymphoma. Brianna is dedicated to enhancing the lives of others through improved treatment options that research offers.

Upon completing her Bachelor of Science with premed concentration, Nola began her research journey at Apex in 2023. Driven by a deep passion for advancing dermatological medicine and aiding patients, she dedicated herself to her clinical research endeavors.
Stacey Spigiel

In 2020, Stacy completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing before joining Apex Clinical Research Center in April 2024. Previously, Stacy worked as an ICU nurse giving her an opportunity to blend her nursing background with her new career in research. Stacey enjoys providing outstanding care while contributing to the advancement of treatment options.
Spanning over several decades as both an RN and leader in Clinical Research, Theresa strives to prioritize the patient experience, whom after all, are our “customers”. In the business of research, our other customers are our pharmaceutical industry colleagues. Quality data and promises kept are paramount to ensuring all customers receive top notch care.
With a passion for leading and developing professional teams, Theresa joined forces with Dr. Jorge Garcia to bring clinical research to the Apex Dermatology & Skin Surgery (apexskin.com) practice. Since 2019, Apex Clinical Research continues to grow and expand, offering an extensive variety of dermatologic studies to our patients in the communities that we serve. Our quality research staff are a big part of why we continue to be sought after by top pharmaceutical companies.
Theresa’s role as VP of Clinical Research Operations is centered around working closely with our site’s team to ensure quality care, excellent data, and positive customer service.
Brooke is dedicated to enhancing patient experience and ensuring high-quality data. Beginning her healthcare career in 2016 as a clinical research nurse at the site level, Brooke later transitioned to a leadership role with a CRO before joining Apex Clinical Research Center in 2023. Brooke currently serves as the site manager at Apex Clinical Research, where she continues to prioritize patient care and data integrity.
